The GLEEM Battery Toothbrush is designed to work with just 1 AAA battery for convenient operation and replacement. The GLEEM Battery Toothbrush is sold with a battery pre-installed so you can begin using it right away, but if you’re having trouble with the brush not turning on, try these steps:
In order for the brush to turn on, 1 AAA battery needs to be installed properly.
      1. To open the battery compartment, use a coin and insert it into the slot in the bottom of the handle and turn counterclockwise. Remove the battery compartment cap.
      2. To ensure proper battery installation, make sure that the positive end of the battery (with the protruding portion) is installed towards the brush head. The negative end of the battery (the flat side) should be at the base of the toothbrush. (There are also markings on the brush handle showing the direction of the battery).
      3. To close the battery compartment, replace the battery compartment cap on the bottom of the handle. Use a coin and insert it into the slot in the battery compartment cap and turn it tightly clockwise so that the indicator marks align (there is a circle symbol on the brush handle and a triangle symbol on the battery cap that need to be aligned to ensure proper installation).
Sometimes the pre-installed battery can become drained during transit or on-shelf, so if the steps above don’t work, try installing a new AAA battery using steps 1-3.
If the brush still does not turn on after installing a new battery, call GLEEM Customer Service at 855-210-8802.
